Queensborough Movie Night
 

Enjoy a classic movie in the historic surroundings of the Queensborough Community Centre, the village’s former one-room schoolhouse. This month’s film is Used Cars (1980), a dark and raunchy comedy starring Kurt Russell, Jack Warden, and SCTV's Joe Flaherty. Steven Spielberg is a producer, and Robert Zemeckis, who later directed the Back to the Future trilogy, is the director. Used Cars has some of the greatest laugh-out-loud movie moments ever! Showtime is 6:30 p.m. and there is no admission charge (donations welcome). Popcorn and soft drinks for sale. A presentation of the Queensborough Community Centre Committee. Queensborough is located 13 kilometres northeast of Madoc via Cooper and Queensborough Roads, and 20 kilometres northwest of Tweed via Highways 37 and 7 and Queensborough Road.
